The story of how two boys from war-torn Germany turned their never-ending dreams into reality. The story is recounted within the virtual realms of the magic box, a surreal environment where past and present converge into 3D storybook reflections on their life's journey.

Inspired by the theatrical magicians Siegfried and Roy, this animated adventure transplants the stage personalities into a fantastical world called Sarmoti, where the once powerful witches and fairies of the land have had their magical abilities stolen by an invading race from Endland. Now, heroic magic wielders Siegfried, Roy, and Roy's magical white tiger Manticore are the only ones who can set things right - if they can just get along with each other.

Siegfried is the third of the four operas that constitute Der Ring des Nibelungen (The Ring of the Nibelung), by Richard Wagner.

In the hands of General Music Director Gianandrea Noseda and Stage Director Andreas Homoki, Wagner's myth is represented as "a dysfunctional family of gods" (The Independent) in a polished yet unpretentious production that underscores the humanity of the characters, who are performed by the same exceptional cast of singers across all four operas.
